I take my free slurpee day very seriously. I went twice.
I went once right after work where Mr. Creepy McCreeperton took my picture then told me how good I looked making my slurpee. Ahh yes, I think we all would agree with that. Nothing hotter than a married, pregnant woman in scrubs getting a slurpee.
My second round was with with Reese and our friends Penny and Madi.
How can you pass up free sugar?
All in all, I would call it a very successful day. I hope some of you were able to enjoy a free slurpee or two as well.

Okay, I totally intended to take advantage of this today and I never got around to it. Who runs out of time when a free slurpee is involved???
Oh and by the way...you do look good makin a slurpee...in a non-creepy way!
I am totally cracking up that you went twice! If there was another 711 on our way home today, I probably would have too :) I should have anyway, Mt Dew was the only flavor available at the store we went to. My kids were bouncing off the walls. I love that you were brave enough to ask mr. creepy to take your picture, you are a true blogger!
Totally creepy! I thought about asking someone to take my picture but they all looked like they would run off with my camera. I just stood there and took pictures of my kids getting free slurpees instead.
I am so glad I looked at your blog this morning otherwise I would have totally forgotten today was National Free Slurpee Day today. Pretty sure it is national, here in Seattle they do it (well Federal Way, but close enough), except one store was out of cups so we had to go to another one. Without you, I would have completely missed it and Katie would not have been saying Slurpee all day. Thanks! Glad you got to go twice and the cup looks much bigger with Reese holding it!
I love that the creepy man was wishing he could just take you home with him :-)! I still cannot get over how Reese is really starting to look like a little girl instead of a baby. It's crazy! She is getting so big and is so dang cute!
Rachel, I too induldged in the free slurpee! I was lucky to have a wide variety of flavors to choose from. I loved the peach mango but it was a little too tasty so I had to cut it with some banana! I didn't however get any cute pictures like you! I have to agree with Mr.Creepy though ..you are looking mighty HOTT in that photo!!!
They just put in a new 7-11 down the street from me, so I went and got a free Slurpee for me and for Rebecca. Rebecca didn't like hers because it hurt her head (brainfreeze, I guess), so I enjoyed two also.
Tarl went to 7-11 that day trying to get a slurpee for his date with Makayla (not knowing they were free today) and there was a huge line out the door so he got a soda instead. When he got home I told him we should run get free slurpee's and he told me he was just there and didn't even get one! I guess it's popular around here. Way to go twice!
You do look "cute", even if you are preggo. I miss you guys. Wish you could have come to market with me. I just found out the kids expo is in Vegas on Sept. 7-11. Maybe you and Nora could come to town and we could all go. You could get things for Reesey Jr's room wholesale. Would be fun!

And CONGRATS on your baby GIRL!! We have 2 girls first and really, they are great friends and I love it and so do they that they have each other!! But I can relate to that initial let down when you are kind of hoping for a boy and then find out it's a girl!
You will NOT be disappointed though!! How fun!! :)
I can't wait to move somewhere that sells Slurpee's again! Your post makes me insanely jealous!
