Okay, so nothing is resolved quite yet, but we did go in and talk to the asst. manager this morning. Tom had the day off so he came in to be my support. The asst. manager was really great about it and was pretty astonished to hear what happened and agreed that I had every right to be really upset. He told us that someone would be reviewing the video-tape from that day (they were also looking for the other mom's complaint about her son). He also told us to go online and write an email with a complaint to the higher up people and also that he was going to talk with the manager about everything that happened. They should hopefully be getting back to us shortly.
I have to say a huge thank you to you all for your comments because they helped me feel validated and helped me stay super strong about it today. Because really, it is a big deal. I'll post what the final outcome of it all is later.

Rachel, you have said something about this girl to me before. What a little wench.... I am glad Tom went with you. With a little of a male support helps! Reese is the cutest little girl and I know (from experience) that Reese is an angel. This girl must treat her like crap. Sorry I haven't looked at your blog to make a comment until now. I hope this gets resolved. You should be able to go work out without worrying whether or not you'll have to leave right after arriving because of the chosen babysitter for the day. I can't wait to hear what happens. Stay strong, Rachel. We've all got your back.
Oh my gosh...I would be raging!! That girl should NOT be working there!! This type of thing is the exact reason why I have such a hard time ever leaving Bella...in fact I never have...now I am scared to do it even more. HA HA...I just wish I knew PERSONALLY the people in the gym daycares...it would make me feel so much better. At least they have video...will they release it to you?? SO AWFUL!!! Good luck...I can't wait to find out what happens!

Wow, that's an awful story. I hope it gets resolved well. National gyms have such amazingly bad customer service. I really hope you write several e-mails to their corporate office, too. Ridiculous.
And honestly, what is it with people named Maria being some of the biggest nasties?

I told my sister about your experience (she worked at a gym for a few years) and she thought you should definitely take it to the big wigs/corporate, because the manager sounds like a loser and corporate would be the ones that don't want to get sued...
