Tom's supposed deadline a couple weeks ago ended up being extended until this last Friday. So this last week ended up being Tom's busiest time of his busiest season of all the busy seasons he's ever had. Catch that? There were nights he only slept for 3 hours total. Crazy! So he and Reese didn't see each other at all for an entire week! But I'm happy to report that they spent the whole day together yesterday and the 2 little buddies are BFF's again!

Ugh I HATE busy season! But you're right - hating it doesn't make it go any faster, so you just keep on keepin' on. I'm glad that Tom's through the worst of it. Will is too, as of Friday. Yippee! Although I did enjoy my little break from cooking real meals, it will be nice to see him once in a while :)

Marisa, I'm actually doing okay. I don't think I'll ever love this time of year, but as you know with Bret's travels, you kind of get used to it. That's not to say that I haven't had my fair share of break-downs this season, but my level of complaining to Tom has been better than ever! I'm slowly (very slowly) learning that my whining about it won't get him home any earlier and it doesn't help lift either of our spirits. The biggest perk of this time of year is that we never fight! :) I'm very excited about this week though because his managers are letting him leave at 5:00 everyday! We're definitely through the worst of it.
