My baby's almost not a baby anymore!! These are just a few current silly things about her that I love.
- After her bath we always put lotion on her. Apparently she likes the "flavor" because while I'm putting it on she rubs her body frantically and then licks her palms as fast as she can before I can stop her. Probably not the best thing for her to be eating, but I think it's so hilarious. I need to get video of it.
- She has turned into quite the little clingy chica (not sure I actually "love" this one), and not just with me. Tuesday we were at the gym and she was in the Kids' Club being super whiny. The asst. manager guy of the gym popped his head in there to see how things were going and he ended up staying because Reese wouldn't let him put her down. She wanted nothing to do with the main babysitter girl in there. So then a couple days later we were back and while I was working out the manager guy walked by me and said, "I'm going to go play with Reese." I asked if she was being cranky and he said, "No, I just really like her. I HATE Kid's Club, but I really like your daughter." I thought it was sweet.
- Just this past week she's started to crawl a little bit on her knees, but she still gets down and army crawls when she wants to get somewhere fast. Check out her speed. It looks like a lot more work to me.
- She LOVES stuffed animals and dolls right now. They all end up right on her shoulder by her ear and they all have to be carried up the stairs over and over again. The doll on the stairs is my doll from when I was little. Her name is Samantha Ginger. Doesn't that just flow? :) She's a My Child. Does anybody else remember those?
- She adores older children and always tries to copy everything they do. This is a picture of her and some of her buddies. Look at her adoring eyes. By the way, the girl in the middle is who I get half of Reese's wardrobe from. Reese's favorite though is boys that are about 12 years old. She will stare at them and do anything she can to get their attention until they turn and look at her, even if it takes several minutes.
I seriously can't believe she's almost 1. We've just started planning her birthday party. I can't wait!

Wow! Usually deacon age boys drive people crazy, but Reese likes 'em, huh? Sounds like you'll have your hands full with the boys in a few years. I love that army crawl! So cute! I can't wait to see you guys in person!
