Birthday Weekend

Tom and I went out Friday night for my belated birthday dinner. We went to my favorite restaurant "Bombay Clay Oven" for some Indian food. Our friends the Mollers watched little Reesey for us so we could have some much needed husband/wife time. We love our baby, but it's nice to go out alone without the munchkin every now and then. We had friends over for cake and ice cream last Sunday for my actual birthday, but I would definitely consider this weekend my real birthday with all that Tom did for me. He got up with Reese Friday night (she has a bad cough that wakes her up every 2 seconds) and then he let me sleep in until 9:30. Then he went and ran errands with me all day without even complaining (he hates errands and shopping). :) Then I got another nap on Sunday and he also made my favorite, chicken curry with rice for lunch/dinner. He really is an amazing husband!

The restaurant is pretty cool. They have little booths to sit in where you sit cross legged at the table and behind curtains. I of course had to order my favorite, lamb tikka masala. Tom always teases me about ordering the same thing everywhere I go, but I say that if you find something you really like, why switch? I'm always disappointed if I do.

We know we're dorks.

What would a blog entry be without a picture of my little crazy baby! She is rolling over now (even from back to stomach). It's not everytime we lay her down, but she's done it enough to know that it's not just a fluke. See, all those people that made me think my baby was going to be deformed if I didn't do "tummy time" 10 times a day with her...she is just fine. Tummy time-shmummy time.

Also, we just heard that we have a new niece! Little Jocelyn Bjorkman! Yeah! Congratulations Steve & Adrienne! We want to see pictures!

Sorry Marissa, it deleted your comment when I went to fix the pictures. Thanks for the heads up!

Happy Birthday, Rachel! Tom really pulled through on the whole weekend! Good job! I hope all the husbands get together at work and help each other out with great ideas to impress their wives. Sleeping in and naps are my all time favorite treat. And that restaurant sounds super fun! I've never even heard of it or been. We should all go out together sometime. And, man, little Reese is beautiful! Let's draw up a contract and make it completely legal that she and Jude are betrothed!
