We went to Vegas for Christmas this year. We blessed Reese in my parent's ward on Christmas Eve. Getting the dress was quite the ordeal. We were supposed to receive the dress through Fed-Ex a week before we flew down to Vegas. But because of all the crazy blizzards here, all the mail was backed up. So an hour before our flight was to leave, Tom went to the Fed-Ex building and made them get on their delivery truck and find the package. He saved the day (and his wife from tears).

Reese was also able to participate in her first ever Koch annual “speed slipper” event on Christmas Eve. My grandma used to have a friend who would crochet us slippers every year for Christmas. They somehow started being used to run and slide up down the halls every Christmas Eve. My dad started adding wax to the wood floors a couple years ago to add a little more “fun.” It actually added a little more injury. I think we ended up spinning each other (kind of like break dancing). The video is of Reese on her first documented speed slipper. The other pictures are of us all in our matching PJ's.
